As doctors of internal medicine we focus on adult medicine and on the prevention and treatment of adult diseases. We also bring to our patients an understanding of wellness (disease prevention and the promotion of health), women's health, as well as effective treatment of common problems. When other medical specialists, such as cardiologists, gastroenterologists, or surgeons are involved, we coordinate our patient's care and manage difficult medical problems associated with that care. In today's complex medical environment, we take pride in caring for our patients for life -- in the office, during hospitalization and intensive care, and in nursing homes.
