Meet the Doctors

Christine M. Anderson, MD Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Anesthesiology Dr. Anderson, originally from Omaha, Nebraska, received her B.A. from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. She then returned to Omaha where she received her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Anderson moved to Seattle, WA where she completed both her anesthesiology training followed by interventional pain management fellowship at Virginia Mason Medical Center, an institution known nationally and internationally for its expertise in regional anesthesia and pain management. She joined Austin Pain Associates to practice pain management in a multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary setting. Dr. Anderson now resides in Texas with her husband who serves in the military and is a surgeon at Ft. Hood's military base.
Mary Jo Hart, PA-C Ms. Hart graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 1980 with a B.A. in Vocal Music and a concentration in Arts Administration. After a successful career in the high-tech industry she returned to the University of Texas at Austin to further her Allied Health career, later transferring to the University of Texas-Pan American where she graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Physician Assistant Studies. Since graduation, Ms. Hart has practiced in Austin specializing in the management of chronic pain patients utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach. She has also enjoyed lecturing at the UT School of Nursing, Central Texas Society of Physician Assistants and the Texas State Convention of Surgical Technologists.
